Every result should be explainable: which dates are counted, which are skipped and which official source supports the calendar.

1. Primary source

We use Qatar Ministry of Education and Higher Education annual-calendar pages and official announcements as the primary public source.

Published dates are manually represented in the calculator: student start, fixed academic breaks, return dates and final-exam end targets.

The calculator counts Sunday through Thursday and excludes Friday and Saturday.

We do not label a future movable religious holiday as fixed before official confirmation. Longer-range results carry an accuracy note.

This version was reviewed on 27 September 2026. The ministry or school remains the final reference if a later circular changes a date.
