- Exam windows are shown by grade group where the calendar distinguishes them.
Private & international schools
- Major dates can overlap, but individual schools publish their own term details.
- Inset/training days, internal breaks and exam arrangements can differ.
- Use your school's own calendar before booking travel or treating a day as non-attendance.

Qatar School Days is independent and is not part of the Ministry. We reorganize published dates into calculators and answer-first pages; if anything conflicts, follow MOEHE or your school.
Frequently asked questions
When did Qatar public schools start in 2026–2027?
Students returned on Sunday, 30 August 2026. MOEHE's English announcement also states that public-school students were scheduled to return on that date.
When is the October school break?
The public-school mid-term break runs from Sunday, 25 October through Thursday, 29 October 2026; students return Sunday, 1 November.
Are Friday and Saturday counted?
No. The calculator counts Sunday through Thursday and then removes the fixed academic breaks currently recorded.
Does this cover every private school?
No. Private and international schools can publish different term structures, so check the school's own calendar.
Why can a long-range count change later?
Some movable religious/public holidays are confirmed later. The calculator flags longer-range results where that can affect the final count.
